This is CV-67 (USS John F Kennedy) at the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility (aka the Philly Navy Yard) - right in the landing pattern for this American flight into Philly. This is the coolest place, you can walk right up to these massive ships, just don't walk on them! This whole complex seems to slowly being rented out to businesses using the old buildings in very creative ways.

This is a panno off the porch of the Pisgah Inn just before sunrise. Took this one using the 70-200 f2.8 so it represents only about 1/2 the veiw as the first one but took almost 10 pictures to stitch together. Again, look at it on the 3X setting.

3 Ticonderoga Class Cruisers in the snow tied up at the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility aka The Navy Yard in Philadelphia. I believe one of these is the USS Ticonderoga and another is the USS Yorktown but I'm not sure what the 3rd one is. They are all slated to be disposed of.

Somewhere between Knoxville and Cary, I just like the shadows on the road.
